Description

Woohoo finally after 6 tries I finally got a shot of the ISS. This was a very difficult target indeed. It is extremely difficult to manually move a telescope to snap a picture of something moving at 27,000km/h at an altitude of 350km using a telescope with a 2332mm focal length is a challenge. I gave up trying to use the webcam since the chip is too small. It would be like hitting a fly with tunnel vision the diameter of a straw. The Canon 300D has a much larger imaging chip. This shot was taken as it's moving away from us. The best images are when it's directy overhead. Out of 30 shots, 3 of them contained the ISS and this was the best one. Unfortunatly seeing was terrible with mostly cloud cover. I will try again another time.
